BT completes sale of BT Federal to 22nd Century Technologies as it sharpens international strategy BT has completed the sale of BT Federal Inc., its US government contracting subsidiary, to 22nd Century Technologies, Inc. (TSCTI). The business will now operate as 22nd Century Networks, expanding TSCTI’s managed network services capabilities and strengthening its delivery of secure, mission-critical technology solutions for US federal organisations. The transaction supports BT’s strategy to simplify its portfolio and focus on its core strengths in the UK and international markets. As a standalone unit, BT International will continue to serve multinational customers with secure multi-cloud connectivity, cloud networking and digital transformation solutions, while maintaining a US presence through offices and employees in New York, Dallas and Reston.
